Acts 16:9-10 “And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing beseeching him and saying, ‘Come over to Macedonia and help us.’ And when he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go on into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.” We know from Scripture that those who were with Paul at that time were Timothy, Silas, and Luke. There also may have been others traveling with them. Luke is writing the account. The vision appeared to Paul, not to all of them. However, when PAUL shared the vision with the others, THEY ALL immediately sought to fulfill the vision, “...concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.” They embraced Paul’s vision from God as their own. “And when HE had seen the vision, immediately
WE sought to go..”
When Pastor shares his vision for the church with us, our job is to claim it as our own. “Immediately WE sought to go to Macedonia.” Paul’s vision was their vision. Pastor’s vision should be our vision. In 2020, Pastor has set forth the vision to Love God and Love People. We should embrace this as our own and do everything in our power to fulfill that vision! How will YOU Love God and Love People in 2020? Be intentional about it, and let’s make Pastor’s vision our vision!
