Hebrews 12:28 (NKJV)
“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear.”
Jesus came, God manifest in the flesh, over 2,000 years ago. He came to save us from our sins, and to show us the way to His heavenly kingdom.
John 3:3-5 lets us know that when we are born again of the water and spirit, we are born into the kingdom of God.
We should be so thankful for this kingdom that we have been born into. It is a kingdom that
cannot be shaken! Jesus Christ is my King, and I am so thankful to be a part of His kingdom! I want to serve Him acceptably and offer worship that is well pleasing to Him. When I feel like my world is being shaken by circumstances of this life, I need to
remember that I have been born into a spiritual kingdom that is real and that cannot be shaken. When this temporal world is shaken, I am still a part of an unshakeable kingdom! I want to live my life continually offering worship filled with reverence and awe to my King. Let’s remember during this holiday season, that the reason for the celebration of
Christmas is to celebrate and worship Jesus Christ, the King of kings, and let’s give thanks that we are part of His unshakeable kingdom!
