Hebrews chapter 11 is a great example of the pillars of faith. It is filled with stories of faithful men and women who were faithful to God and his leading, a few of them not even living to see their works bear fruit. (Hebrews 11:13) We read these verses and are amazed at the faith of these. We may even dream of how we would respond to God if we were in similar situations. God has called us today to have faith just as those in Hebrews 11. Their faith wasn’t limited to one particular instance, but is was in everything they did. For “without faith it is impossible to please” God. Everything we do in life should be directly linked to our faith in him. Do we go to church just because it is what a Christians should do? Or do we go to church expecting in faith that God will meet us there and will move in a mighty way? Our daily walk with God can easily become routine and no longer be a part of our faith in GOD as it once was. We can’t let reading our Bible, praying and going to church be another thing to check off your daily list of things to do. Do them with faith, knowing that a loving, faithful and powerful God will move in and through you.
