Able Ministries
Explore Our Program
At ABLE Ministry, our goal is simple: to make sure every person has the opportunity to experience the presence of God, grow in His Word, and become part of the church family. We believe every individual is created in the image of God with unique gifts, purpose, and value. No diagnosis, disability, or difference changes how deeply God loves them—or how much they belong in His church.
Whether you are visiting for the first time or looking for a church home, we want you to know that you are welcome here. We want to partner with families to create a loving, supportive environment where children, teens, and adults with differing abilities can worship, learn, and grow in Christ.
What We Offer
Before Your Visit
Every individual is different, and we know that the best support begins with listening. If you’d like, we encourage you to contact us before your visit so we can learn more about your family’s needs and prepare to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
Whether your loved one has autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, sensory processing differences, an intellectual or developmental disability, or simply benefits from additional support, we would be honored to serve your family.
You Belong Here
Our prayer is that every person who walks through our doors feels the love of Jesus and the acceptance of His people. We want church to be a place where families can worship freely, children can learn about God in ways that meet their needs, and adults with differing abilities can build relationships, use their God-given gifts, and grow in their walk with Him.
At ABLE Ministry, we don’t just make room for people with special needs—we celebrate them as an important part of our church family.
We look forward to welcoming you and worshipping with you. There is a place for you here.
Children’s Ministry Support We understand that every child has different strengths and needs. That’s why we offer individualized support during children’s church to help each child participate in a way that is meaningful and comfortable for them.
Available supports include
Individualized care based on your child’s unique needs Weighted blankets for comfort and regulation Noise-canceling headphones in a variety of sizes Ear plugs for sound-sensitive individuals Sensory tools and fidgets A sensory space with activities such as a mini trampoline and spinning chair to help children regulate, reset, and rejoin class when they’re ready Our desire is never to force a child to fit a certain expectation, but to meet them where they are with patience, understanding, and the love of Christ.
Adult Special Needs Ministry ABLE Ministry also provides support for adults with special needs who desire to be actively involved in worship and church life.
Whether someone needs a quieter environment, sensory supports, or a little extra assistance navigating services, our ministry is here to help. We believe every member of the Body of Christ has something valuable to contribute, and we are committed to creating opportunities for fellowship, spiritual growth, and meaningful participation in the life of the church.
