52 Days. Day 13, Facing the Blockages.

Nehemiah 2:14 (KJV) “Then I went on to the gate of the fountain, and to the king's pool: but [there was] no place for the beast [that was] under me to pass.”  The wall of Jerusalem used to be an impressive feat of engineering.  But by Nehemiah’s time it’s a mess of rubble, rubbish, and burnt stones.  The chaos of this collapse has caused what was once open pathways to now be blocked.  Where once one could easily proceed, now there’s a very real struggle. Could it be that your struggle to pray consistently, to read and contemplate His Word, to set yourself apart to fast, to breakthrough in the Spirit in the purity of praise and worship, to desire to gather with people of like precious faith, to live a holy separated life, is caused by the broken wall that needs to be repaired in your life?  Face the blockages and realize that God has put it in your heart to do something about it.
