52 Days: Day 5

Repentance.  Nehemiah 1:7 (KJV) “We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.”  Repentance comes from an understanding that we have not honored God by honoring His Word with our attitude and actions (inner & outer). Repentance is being specific about our sins and asking for forgiveness.  Today, confess your sins knowing He will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
