52 Days: Day 2, Grief and Desperation. Nehemiah 1:4 (KJV) “And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned [certain] days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,” What oNehemiah sees and hears moves him deeply to go to prayer. This longing disturbs his daily routine. It is God Who is calling you to fast from something so that you too can hear and see and be touched deeply by the need to seek Him in prayer.
